Pupil's visit to The Old Vic Theatre 

Oceania Class treated the school to a very special assembly this week. Miss Booth’s class shared the wonderful art work they have been creating while studying the artist Laurel Burch and her vibrant, colourful pieces. All the children in Upper Key Stage 2 have been learning about Laurel Burch this term as part of our art curriculum, which aims to introduce pupils to lesser-known artists alongside more established names. What made Oceania’s assembly extra special was how the children led the whole school in a live drawing session, showing everyone how to recreate Laurel Burch’s distinctive style. The result was a hall filled with fantastic artwork!
